KANDY Outdoor Flooring is growing!

The right person with the right character can have a rewarding career expanding home experiences with new outdoor flooring for condo balconies in an exclusive Canadian geographic area.

So who’s the right person and how do we assess the right character? The KANDY representatives you speak with on the phone and let into your home for consultations or floor designs need to have more than top-notch client service skills. What else?

Here is our top-five list.

1. Core purpose and value alignment.

Everyone at KANDY today lives and breathes our core purpose and values. It’s our culture, our brand, and it’s what makes us special.

Core purpose
Expanding Home Experiences

Core values
Bring out the best in everyone
Deliver the promise
Be the solution
Ever-evolving
Passion for condo living

2. Strong support network.

We believe that support from friends and family is a leading predictor of success in entrepreneurial ventures, and we put it near the top of our priority list.

3. Presence, charisma.

We are building a brand with people and dealers who ‘know thyself’. People who are introspective, but engaging. Patient, but ready to act. Presentable, well-groomed.

4. Business acumen.

Of course we mean sales, marketing, financial and business operations aptitude and experience. But we also mean leadership capacity, strong orientation to client service, adaptable and driven to succeed.

5. Appreciation for the condo lifestyle, and all that other stuff.

Living in (small) condos is big in Canada. It is a lifestyle choice that has grown to represent almost 20 per cent of all Canadian households. That means having an understanding, and appreciation, of this choice and what it means is key to delivering KANDY’s purpose of “expanding home experiencesTM” and living our “passion for condo living” core value.

Dealers will also have to be their own IT departments, so technology aptitude and experience are important. At times they may also have to be their own floor designer/shipper/receivers and delivery agents – and that means being physically fit enough to lift 75 pounds regularly.

What do you think? Are there elements missing that you think we should also look for? We’d love to hear from you.

May you ever have The Sweet Treat for your Feet!
